Palisade, Colorado is Colorado's Peach and Wine Capital. Located along the river, just east of Grand Junction and at the base of the Grand Mesa, Palisade is the "banana belt" of the Grand Valley. The town has just under 3,000 residents. It has a historical downtown area with an art gallery, Antique store, coffee shop, bike shop, barber shop and grocery store.
Local Schools: Noah's Ark Pre-school/Daycare, Tayler Elementary, Mt. Garfield Middle School and Palisade High School.
Every year Palisade hosts several large events, including the Palisade Blue Grass & Roots Festival, Colorado Mountain WineFest and Palisade Peach Festival.
